Why are you reading Ken Starr's report on the Clinton sex scandal? That's not appropriate reading for elementary-level students.

Second mention of Ken Starr, I recall the first time had a few people scratching their heads as to who he was.

This strip hasn't dated well as a result of it.

Not really a double standard. I would assume if Millie was quoting a source she could get away with naughty language. I do assume Ken Starr was quoting something, not just swearing in his report.

The fridge logic of Millie having a copy of the Starr Report never hit me until now.
You can tell that the Starr Report on stuff Clinton was doing was much in the news, during this period.
That which does not kill me, cripples me for life.
