Well, if you're going to go off to drink coffee and leave Millie unattended and with access to hair groomery implements, then you've got to sleep in the hair bed that you made.

It's a bit uncharacteristic of Millie to care this much about the consequences of her actions. I actually panicked a bit while I was writing this story, because I was afraid I'd make Millie a less sympathetic character. I needn't have worried about that, really, and I definitely wouldn't today.
