I detest his whole job position and the concept of talent and ability that he and his profession claim to understand.
I guess nobody hear plays Chrono Trigger :(
I did but I don't see the reference... did I overlook it?

I agree with NW, it has a youthfulness to it that felt fresh at the time. As to Maggots list I mostly agree... Except for The Sex Pistols... I'd take The Clash any day.
I like the perspective in the third panel. DCS probably thought he should try to work on different angles and not stick to the same view every time.
Nice observation.

Uh, what about The Stooges, The New York Dolls, Television, Patti Smith... I mean Blondie when it first started were very punk in spirit as was the Talking Heads. A common mistake is confusing punk rock with punk. But for all intents and purposes the two terms mean the same thing.

I guess I never really 'got' punk. I've tried to get into it before, but haven't been able to.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Meh, don't bother if it doesn't come naturally. You end up missing the point anyway if you try to hard.

That's pretty much what I figured, hence I gave up.

I already pointed this out...

Ozzy, Flea, and Slash. Magus' generals.

I don't see Millie as being the one to deliver the punchline. To me this comic gets its entire meaning from what Ozy says. I think this comic tries put large and small ideas into the same category as a contrast to what would be considered more grownup ideas. Ozy and Millie are still at the age where they don't discriminate against any level of thinking. They haven't yet sunk into that mature median of thought that tries to weed out ideas both unrealistic and trivial.

Aw man, I should've gotten this. Especially since my brother once pointed out to me that those characters had the same name as famous band members. :P Although, I remember them more from Crono cross than Crono Trigger. *shrugs* I loved Crono Trigger better though. <3 <3 <3
