Verbal description:
Jeff (standing with his hands on the window): Princess? Are you all right?
Aw ... you're shaking.
(opening the window)
Why don't you come inside?
(Raine enters Jeff's room, and lies down at the foot of his bed with her eyes closed, while he lies beneath a blanket covered with pictures of cars and trucks.)
Raine: I lay there on Jeff's bed, listening to the storm outside. The thunder seemed much farther away than it had before.

This is an inexcusably boring conclusion to the slight attempt to build up some suspense in the last page. Really, really bad.
That’s really sad for an artist who has once drawn one of the best comic strips ever.

Don't you folks ever think about what DCS would think if she happens to read what you write? I doubt it would hurt to use a more respectful and constructive tone.

It felt like a year, however. You know how limited my 12-year old mind is, bear with me.

Getting back on topic, I think that this kind of weak. It would have been better if she was left out in the rain. Then that's how she gets her name Raine Dog. Being neglected would build a inner loathe for humans and then starts a revolution for animals who also feel neglected. Then we would have something.
