I don't hit my dog, but yes, this.I'd feel bad about hitting my dog if she actually noticed it.
I sometimes think they do notice, though.

Some days it feels like I need some restraint to keep from smacking the cat, but yes, this as well.I don't hit animals. Period. Especially not dogs.

Also, I'm somewhat getting confused on the kid's gender. Is it a male or female? Sometimes, the kid looks like a female and sometimes he looks like a male
