I've always been concerned that Ozy and Millie, at 12, seem to speak more eloquently than I do at 20. Enough to make me wonder if Washington state is that far ahead of the east coast in terms of education...

meh, its DCS writing the strip, not the entire west coast. anyway, nice coloring job on the strip. not sure about the fire in the last box, but otherwise, good job

Well, DCS has noted that kids talking like adults is a comic strip tradition going at least as far back as "Peanuts." Of course, I have a feeling that even DCS doesn't speak as eloquently as the O&M characters, and neither does Bill Watterson speak as eloquently as Calvin.
Oh yeah: Ozy and Millie have had their ages stated formerly as 8 and later as 10. I doubt they've aged since. I mean, Stephan is still the only one remotely looking for love. (Felicia trying to look good to boys doesn't count.)
Twinkies may be good for immortality. An old "Over the Hedge" episode noted that they take a darn long time to expire, so theoretically they'd be good to put in an emergency capsule.
The special patterning of a word balloon normally suggests a change in tone to me. That doesn't seem to be the case here, but at least ID's added visual appeal.

Lets not forget that Family Guy Episode when the world ended and the Twinies survived.

I don't think the fire in the last panel fits very well, but very nice job other than that.

I don't like the fire, but for the rest it looks good. I like the stars.

I agree, it seems a bit unnecessary. Too much excess. But otherwise it looks great!

I personally like the flames...I think it's a nice touch.

I think the fire would have been more appropriate in the third panel. But that's just a personal opinion.

If you didn't want to be second, you shouldn't have named yourself Dr. Second EN ESPANOL!
