It's said that nearly everyone's first driving experience doesn't go especially well. I'll wager most people don't end up in a moat, however.
Heh, one of the more adventurous story arcs, and one of my favorite as well.

I can't imagine Ozy helping anyone hijack a truck. That seems a bit OOC.

He didn't actually help hijack it in this specific strip, but I'm just sayin'.

He didn't help them hijack it. It was all Millie and Isolde.

He distracted the driver with his distraction technique.

Ozy actually worked against them by telling the driver that Millie and Isolde were going to steal it. It was just a remarkable coincedence (plus a little timing ).

Well, he didn't NOT help...

What more could he have done? Hes almost never successfully discourage Millie away from one of her schemes (for lack of thesarus) and he would never be able to stop Isolde and Millie.

So he helps them AND the trucker thus satisfying his principles and his friend/cousin! Pretty genius, says I.

He could've bought the thermometers with his vast wealth. That would work too. That way he's helping the driver and Isolde.

But, yes, the actual story line was genius. Still OOC, though.

He doesn't have vast wealth. His dad does. Ozy has to scrub out the moat for an allowance. ... Although, you could never tell they were so wealthy from the way they act.

Besides, Ozy's dad had already bought/been given the thermometers. The news broadcast later on states that the thermometers were on the way to Llewellynland as medical supplies.

He has to scrub the moat for allowance? I'm pretty sure I've read every strip (twice?) and I dont remember that ever coming up.

I know the thermometers were intended for them, but what if they weren't? Then Ozy wouldve contributed to a possible economic loss by purposely distracting the driver from the hijacking.

I mean, you're not really helping if you tell someone their car is on fire or if you tell someone they just lose ten thousand dollars. You're just sort of reporting.

HA! I've read the archives two and a half point five times! I have no life! Here it is!

And Ozy did what he needed to do by telling the driver.
