I had kinda assumed that the streaker was an artic fox for some reason...

Whoa, I never noticed the streaker in the black and white version. Although House Rules is like, an official color site for the strips, the coloring probably doesn't always reflect what was in David's head when he drew the original. As to what kind of fox it is...that's DCS's choice to say.
