Millie's expression in the third panel is great.

I like the red stripe in the third panel, very cartoony. It'd be great if there was a storyline where Ozy told all this to Dr. Wahnsinnig.

Only now do I see a connection between this start of a running gag and an early arc in C&H.

There's a story arc (just at the end of book 2) where Calvin gets Hobbes to cut his hair for him and he ends up almost bald. The dialogue during the haircut is just classic...<br><br>"You made a mistake, didn't you?"<br>"No, I can cover it up."<br>"Cover WHAT up?"<br>"Nothing. I can't help it if your head has funny bumps that make the scissors go screwy."<br>"YOUR head's gonna have 'funny bumps' in a minute..."<br>"Oops, hold still."<br>"OOPS?! What'd you do NOW?!"<br>"You know what's all the rage this year?... hats."
