The <a href='
http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... st&p=30000' target='_blank'>30000th post</a> was quietly made some time ago by Zaaphod, but many of you people are probably interested in seeing which post probably kicked the forum-wide post count past the 30000th mark.<br><br>Let's see.. My last post was #30233, and it made the total forum post count 30028.. backtracking 28 posts (and assuming none were deleted by us mods or the admin since the threshold was crossed) leads us to conclude that the threshold-breaking post is <a href='

Whats the big deal about post counts? it just a number, quality over quanity.

That is true, hdofu, but this helps us benchmark the growth of the community.. if the post count suddenly went to 40000 within two months, we would know that the community is becoming far more active than ever. Of course, it would be more noticeable by people who could no longer keep up with the posts.
