time's pantsed up

I'm in GMT -5, and I just noticed I had to set my profile to GMT +3 for the time to be right. Which is odd, because I remember the other day I thought I had corrected the time by setting it to GMT -4, assuming it was just a matter of the fact that they changed the dates for daylight saving's time since our forum was last updated.

I noticed this myself, a few days ago. I changed the timezone setting to whatever made it "correct", but then it seemed to fix itself a day later so I switched it back to my actual timezone. Now it appears to be wrong again.

most likely because of the server crashing the past week or two.

The current server, for reasons as yet unknown, seems to change its time randomly every night. Hence why whenever the time is corrected, it's out again by the next day. It puzzles me.

maybe the time gets reset to midnight each time the server crashes

The server is giving me post dates 2 1/2 days out from when they were actually made. It's telling me it's early morning, April 12th right now.

Perhaps it loses time whenever the server crashes temporarily or something?

Hallo, I'm posting this from the future. Specifically three days in the future. There's a state of chaos so I don't know if my connection will last long. North Korea launched a nuclear strike into Seoul and Tokyo. China is mobilising its army towards both there and India. American warships and bomber planes have started attacking the coastline. In the confusion there's reports of Iran invading southern Iraq and Sudan moving further west to pursue the refugees in Chad. There's a lot of conflicting news being broadcast but I think the submarine cable across the Pacific was damaged. Mass riots incited by religious extremists have flared across the Middle East. Obama's new puppy was killed by cat lovers.

In other events drawing night was a great success. You should leave your Friday open for that.
