Define Cynical Fan Forums

I'm posting to announce my resignation from my position as administrator of DC. I'm glad to have been a part of the success of DC for over 3 years now, but things have changed since then, both for me personally, and on DC. I have new commitments and DC has new personality. For some of you this comes as no surprise; I've been considering quitting for a long time now. I finally reached this conclusion several days ago.

Thanks to the moderators past and present, as well as the other staff. You helped stave off DC from destroying itself.

I'm glad I could be a facilitator for so many friendships over the years.

I haven't lined up a replacement, but Nickspoon and Arloest will remain as moderators on the forum.

Bai, Jason. It's too bad it had to end like this, but it's all for the best if you have new commitments to focus on.

I probably won't be around too much anymore either, if things don't change. DC doesn't seem to be the lighthearted place it was around the time I joined. Now it's just a trolling ground for people who take it upon themselves to cleanse those they consider unworthy, be it furries or angsty young teens.

I have NO idea whointheheck you are.

But, hey...if one must rely upon luck, may all that comes your way be of the 'Good™' variety.

On the other hand, I would volunteer to be forum admin, except I have no idea what that would necessarily entail in terms of fixing forum errors. I'm not exactly the most programming-literate candidate for the job.

Sorry to hear your leaving though. Not that I really got to know you, but its obvious you were important here to a lot of people in one way or another.
