January 1, 2006???

I've been trying to update my birthday on my profile, and though I input the correct date and it says the change has been saved, I go and check it and it's reverted back to January 1, 2006! Any clue why this is? How will people know when to give me cake?

that your b-day? it sais that in the profile of yours I can view; as far as I can tell, instead of defaulting the option to change your set birthdate to what it was last set to, it defaults to the topmost available options, hence 1/1/06.

Well, it sure took it's sweet time changing. I checked like 20 minutes after I made the change and it was still January 1...

This is one of the remenant problems from that brower-crash-bug-fix last month. It will be fixed in due time.

Anything you submit on the profile page WILL be saved. It still appears to be Jan 1 2006, but only on the edit page. It'll show up properly everywhere else. The only catch is that you need to reenter your birthday every time (or just the last time) you update your profile if you want it to remain the same.

There is also a similar problem with the preferences page. I'm not recommending anyone try to update their preferences at this time. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Well, I mean I actually viewed my profile from another person't point of view (not the edit page) and it said Jan 1st. But no matter, it seems to be working now.
