Favicon Contest

Well I figured I would go ahead and start a contest to see what kind of cool favicons we can get. Here are the rules:
All images need to ether be 16x16, 32x32, or 64x64 pixels in size
Your image must be 256 Colours or 24-bit
You need to submit your image to this thread for it to be considered (that way it is all in one place)
Submission as a .png is fine....I can convert the winning image to .ico after the contest.
The contest will be closed May 19th (or when ever me or someone else remember about it)
You can PM me if you have any questions about favicons or the contest. Thanks ^.^

Well, to start, I'll submit the following:
Note that both images are 32 bits/pixel (8 bits per channel RGBA), due to the addition of an alpha channel. (Is that okay?)

Eh, it doesn't preserve the transparency

I use GIF movie gear for creating icons - it does preserve transparency, but it's only a 30 day trial.

I downloaded
icoutils, which not only preserves regular (1-bit) transparency, but can also preserve alpha transparency (using PNG files as its source; alpha transparency only works in XP and Vista, to my knowledge), and can do multi-resolution icons to boot! Fully compiled icon is
here.

I'll work on one this weekend (been kinda busy lately), but in the meantime, I suggest the Dragon Illuminati emoticon.

Here's my contribution:
My images contain RGB channels, two alpha channels and an epsilon channel (for added texture).

epsilon channel
What's that?
[And note, PNG only supports up to four channels: red, green, blue and alpha]

I guess that one went over your head then, Niner.

I still like Richard's one, but Don's Taijitu is good too.

...and it's only now that I notice the "two alpha channels" part...
