We've really had a lot of new members show up the past week. HuffaMoose, Hobo, Dragon Wing, Miles, Lindentree, Espi, not to mention Salad Man and ravage resurfacing again. What do you think brought on this sudden membership spike? Do you think it was Doctor Fred's post in the O&M LJ community?

A fellow fox fan recommended the O&M comic site to me, but he doesn't know about the O&M message board. I have since told him about it, but I haven't seen his face around here yet.

I think at least my being part of that spike was coincidence. I kept meaning to check this place out when I was at the Ozy and Millie site, and finally got around to it a few days ago, but just lurked a few times before joining. So, as I said, coincidence at least on my part.

Well, when this place was posted on the O&M site, there was a huge member boom (18 members the first day), and it slowly slowed down to a steady registration rate. Although it has been more active I agree. Compared to when I left at least.

I found out from 5hfifty and Manc about these forums. Manc hosts personal webspace for me and many others.

I first found out about Ozy and Millie in June, read a couple then promptly forgot about it.

Fairly recently, i started reading it again, and got the desire to read the entire archive, as is so common.

So ending up here is just a natural progression, that it should be now is purely coincidence.

I don't know that the membership is really "spiking" much. It seems like it's been 100 something for awhile. Perhaps new members posting encourages other new members to post?
Still mostly here.
