Just thought I'd all let you know that the new pipeline installation is in motion. The external wiring for the new line is now in place, and the rest of the installation process will take place on Thursday, January 22nd.

MancuNET will be going down on Tuesday, January 20th for maintenance and the new connection. I would not expect mancubus.net to be working again until Sunday. Please keep in mind these times/days are for Central Standard Time in the USA.

I know 5 days may sound like a lot, but when it comes back it'll be better than ever! You should see significantly increased speeds and an all around more pleasurable experience. Also, the Mancubus.Net main site/network will be worked on and put up after the transition to the new service.

Well, that's it. Enjoy.

I promise to bring it up as soon as I possibly can. I can't really say much more than that, other than it'll be my top priority when it happens. It always is. You'll just have to trust me on this one.

In theory, you will be able to download from MancuNET at ~96KB/sec (that's a rough translation from 1.1mbps).

I never noticed slowdowns on my cable. Maybe I'm never on during peak usage times.
