The official Define "Cynical" forum skin has been made available (You could say it's now in beta). Not all features are available, and some things may not work properly, but you are free to test it. This new skin will eventually become the default.

To enable the skin, look for the "Board Style" menu in your profile options. If you have any problems to report, do so in this thread, or send me a private message.

It looks great. You've really outdone yourself. The semi-transparent strips are a nice touch.

Aesthetically, it's nice, but it seems to be missing some parts I actually use when I try to catch up on some threads.

i.e. the link to the first unread post (Thanks for clarifying that you're moving it somewhere else in the row) and the icon that indicates whether or not I read the indicated post. Image

Pretty good, though like Niner, I'll be looking forward to seeing the "View New Posts" link restored too.

Well, actually, I'll also be looking forward to whatever new skin ideas might show up here, and consider trying to add in something of my own if I find the time. :)

I don't know if we had it on the old board, but I have become rather accustomed to the little icon on each individual post that tells you if you're read it or not.
