I was just wondering if HTML could be turned on. Or if it <i>CAN</i>be turned on. It would make resizing images easier and other things too.

The trouble with HTML enabled is... it would allow people to post annoying music and Flash movies. Though it would still rock... I'd be able to center-ize my sig!

what we could agree to is, that if we post annoying music or flash... or anythign else that could be termmed 'annoying' to more than a significant number of members, that the person who posted it will be given a chance to edit it out, or have his post removed entirely. If that poster would do that multiple times, then consider a ban on that person.

You can also use the swear filter... Have it filter out various HTML keywords that might be used in annoying ways (such as "iframe", "embed", "javascript", "marquee", "blink", etc.) The hard part with this is coming up with a solid list of words to filter. I can probably get one from a board I used to run, but the current admin is pretty busy so it might take a while.<br>
