The idea makes little sense, considering that this forum was made for fans of a certain comic. Choosing a new comic would be impossible since it is unlikely that there is one out there that we all read.
Think of it as being re-purposed.

This forum could become a more general forum, rather that one revolving around webcomics per se. Sort of like Theopia. Maybe?
gforce422 is awesome because:
-He made the absolute nicest comments about me in the other topic. I didn't respond to them yet, because I suck, but they are greatly appreciated! =D
-I would say he would also be a good runner up as one of the nicest people alive.
-He joined the IRC sometimes. But not enough, I say! Chat moar =D
-He is evidently only 18 year old but he could easily pass for 25. =D
-He is a drummer like *I* am and this in itself is cool.

Not I! And from my experience, they usually go unchanged. Six Flags Houston didn't change.

I am proud to have sparked at least five confirmations in my idea =D

and it wouldn't have to be comic specific, it would just host sections for other comics, and be a general forum to boot!

I brought up the same idea a few days ago in the irc, and still think it would be a good thing. (Provided it is executed properly, which may be a little tricky.)

I think you misread something, there. We're talking about making this the site of the comics-by-us forum that we'd been planning. You know... the forum? That we'd been talking about?

Naturally the Ozy and Millie stuff could stay there even though there would be no new source material. It would just get pushed into its own "pod." (That's a generic term for "place where stuff is lumped together" that all the cool kids are using these days.) There'd be one "pod" for each comic, each with its own subforum for Recent Strips, General Discussion, and Fan Art. And then there'd be space for stuff not related to comics, just like we have now (though the current Fanworks forum would probably end up in this spot because it's currently 99% non fan-art).

Granted, it would all wind up being a bit confusing at first, to have all this O&M material mixed in with everything else, but I'm willing to live with confusing. Hanging around this place for three years has pretty much killed any OCD-ness I've ever had. (Thanks guys.)
