No, it makes stopping trolls impossible, trust me, as some one who admins an anime board, trolls are a fact of boards

ugh @ requiring a moderator's approval<br><br>I don't join any board that does that -- it's just a waste of time. I want to be able to post within a few minutes of signing up, rather than waiting a few days.<br><br>If you can set it up so that your password gets e-mailed to you (rather than picking one) and then you can change it once it comes in e-mail, that does a lot to stop spammers...

I thought that was an admin control function
