http://www.timesleader.com/mld/timeslea ...

Hi. Welcome to my school, 9th grade. I didn't have this guy, but it's clear nobody seems to like him now. I do know the kid though, he's in my social studies class.

"a teacher at Wyoming Area Secondary Center punched him in the head and ribs, borough police said."

Punched him in the back, not ribs. I guess spine.

"hit him after the boy made a mistake on a problem he was doing on the blackboard"

He put a plus sign. He was supposed to put a minus sign. Amazing what one vertical line will do.

" After being hit, the student blacked out and fell to the ground. He later complained of a 'severe headache.'"

Minor concussion.

Isn't my school just great?

Pitiful................

The offending teacher should be arrested for assault and banned for life from teaching again.

As it turns out he was arrested just yesterday.

I don't have him, but a lot of my friends do, according to them when he hits people he basically pushes them, not hurting them or anything until this time. I really don't know.

Still, that's going too far. He shouldn't be teaching.

I'm glad he got arrested. It seems like a open-and-shut case of assault. Approval for corporal punishment or no, that went beyond acceptable limits.

Yea, just for a mistake...ugh, if we got punched like that every time we made a mistake in my math class, we would have all died of severe head trauma months ago.

Woah, it's scary to think that someone can snap just that easily. Be thankful it wasn't you, though. That's just sad that someone was sick enough to do that for a math mistake. I'm gonna watch my back in math class from now on... <img src='

We learn from our mistakes. I certainly wouldn't want to be beaten up just from learning.

One time something similar happend at my Middle School, except it was a student who hit the teacher. That wasn't fun.
But this is disgusting. He really can't get away with this.
