Shame. Another drug-related celeb death, apparently.

The Dark Knight better be dedicated to him.

I'd kinda like to not see the gay cowboy play the joker... :\

I've had a few problems with him, but this is still shocking -- the celebrity death that's meant the most to me of late. He had such a promising near-future.

Please, people: Whether you're famous, aspiring to be famous, or not interested, don't do any drugs more serious than weed.

Unless your Brittney Spears, in which case you need to take more.

I think he would have done well, in fact. Just because he played a role in one movie shouldn't have made it so that he couldn't do another role in a very different movie :P

Apparantly he's an Australian actor. Er, was.

Of course, since "The Dark Knight" is finished just not released, he is the Joker. If someone doesn't like that, tough, it's done.

I'd have to agree with ya on that. Still I hear he did a pretty good job. I'll have to check it out and see for myself though it'll feel kinda weird watching him on screen knowing he's recently deceased. For me though, Jack Nicholson we'll always be the one that pops to mind as the Joker. Those are pretty big shoes for Heath to try and fill. Still such a shame for someone so young. He may have had a great future in front of him. Now we'll never know just how great an actor he could have been.

I think its people who listen to her music that need to take more drugs.

He was also in The Patriot, if that helps you place him.

And instead of smoking pot, start smoking regular cigarettes instead - they're cheaper, legal, but most importantly, they're not as bad for your lungs.

Actually, marijuana isn't as damaging to your lungs as tobacco, but it does make a mess of your higher brain functions.

EDIT: Not that you had anything worth salvaging if you're using either one in the first place.
