This is how World Wars start. Remember this day... it will live in infamy.

That's exactly what I thought when I first heard about this. More people should care about this, as it will probably sooner or later affect them.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

I doubt there will ever be another World War. This may effect America however depending on if the assasination causes major problems during the elections and causes some unsavory characters to get control of the country. A nuclear attack of some sort is probably more likely then a World War.

It's causing quite a shitstorm in Pakistan. I feel like it's a ploy from the current government to extend the deadline to it's martial law.
I was pretty pissed.

I heard today that she died of a skull fracture she suffered while trying to take cover from a bomber. At least, that's what "Pakistani Officials" are saying.

Just saw Charlie Wilson's War today. It's set in the 1980s, and there's a line about someone not having killed "Bhutto." The speaker was referring to Benazir's father, but it's a notable (and sad) coincidence.

Eh, witnesses and her bodyguards are saying she was shot in the neck before the explosion.

And if anyone things this is enough for a world war, you're seriously underestimating human depravity. :-P

Wars have been started over stupider things. Like the ear of a guy named Jenkins.
That which does not kill me, cripples me for life.

I imagine that quite a few people have drawn that conclusion. I was tempted to think that myself but it seems more like Al Queda's work to me. When you think about it, it makes since. They're probably hoping that Musharef is toppled from power amid all the chaos so that maybe a regime much less tolerant of the West could form. I for one pray that another war ensues from this since dubya's gotten us so hopelessly stuck in the quagmire that is Iraq. Oh to be able to live in peace for even the briefest moment.

And they want her body exhumed to check.

Al Queda is denying responcibility for the attack. They could still be behind it, but it seems like they would want people to know they did it so they could brag about causing so much trouble, and threatan to do it to other politicians.

Al Qaeda are never very subtle about crimes. If they're claiming they didn't do it then they probably didn't do it.

They initially claimed they didn't do 9/11
