One Less Mime

A mighty blow has been struck against the scourge that is mime-dom.

Marcel Marceau, famed French mime, dies.
PARIS - Marcel Marceau, whose lithe gestures and pliant facial expressions revived the art of mime and brought poetry to silence, died Saturday. He was 84.
But seriously, while I am not personally familiar with his work, his influence is undeniable. I had no idea about his involvement in the French Resistance in WWII until I read the article. He will be missed.

It's not like he needs another moment of silence, though.

Mime-hate must be a purely American thing... either that or the French just really, really love mimes (and really, really hate cops).

That's why rioting is the French national pastime.
