Americans are getting clumsier -- maybe. A 38 percent increase in serious head injuries from 2001 to 2004 has statisticians puzzled. In 2004, more than 200,000 people were treated for traumatic brain injuries; 40 percent of these were caused by falls. And nobody knows why. So, maybe think twice before climbing that ladder -- statisticians are coming to get you.

Well, once you're old you're not really an active participant of the gene pool anyway.
I bet better statistics of these kind are kept in America. Maybe other nations are just as accident prone.
