We will see if this guy's critique actually holds up!
What do you think of the article?

There are bound to be plagiarized passages in parts of Wikipedia, since editing is open to everyone. The site has plenty of moderators to keep up on that stuff though.
That Daniel Brandt guy is mad at an organization for something written about him by someone who isn't a member of the organization. That hardly makes sense.
I think he's just trying to get revenge.

if he finds all this plagiarized stuff...why doesn't he report to wikipedia directly and suggest they correct him rather than make the news about it?
He obviously just has a grudge.

Because he's a pedant?
Of course Wikipedia is going to have plagerised stuff on it! It's a vault of KNOWLEDGE! And sometimes, you read something that needs to be there, but can't think of any better way to put it.
Saying that, I always change a few words/sentences when I copy stuff onto Wiki.

Yep. Joke. On another board I frequent, that joke resulted in many lulz. You guys are too dang smart for my simplistic sense of humor.

This policy about "owning" knowledge is a bit lame. Copying a literary fiction, sure, I can understand how someone would get mad. But if you have to record history differently every time you write it, it's not going to stay the same for very long.
