It was also blown way out of proportion in the media, especially here. So I kind of got sick of seeing it over and over again. But it was a pretty serious disaster nonetheless, and I also have respect for those who died.

That's the way me and my friends deal with stuff like this. Laugh at it to make it less sad than it is.

Plus, I REALLY don't need to be reminded about something that happened in another country. We've already got the July bombings and Bloody Sunday, I don't need another day of mourning.
