September 11th- what were you doing?

A few days later I estimated that at the time of the attack I was in the bus back home, after school. I didn't hear of it until the evening when my dad came home and he heard it on the radio. Looking back I was actually very apathetic about the whole thing.

I was at home, I saw it on the news. To me it was just something that happened and not a world changing event like it's always made out to be.

I was in school, in 12th grade. I learned about it when I came back home at around 6. My brother told me about it but he was jumping everywhere and so excited that I didn't understand what he was talking about. Then my mother told me it was true and my brother grabbed my hand and brought me to the TV set so I could see it.
