This is quite sad. And it's also everywhere over the net...

Well, at least it was a fish instead of some crazed fanatic. But I think the poor chap'd enjoy being killed by a croc instead.

RIP...
I'm here, you just can't see me!

Triggerpoint is my not so new webcomic, and currently under heavy work before it resurfaces.

The poor guy. My prayers go out to his wife and kids. It's such a shame.

The guy really did take a lot of risks though. Part of me really isn't all that shocked. However, I'm sure there's a lot of idiots out there reading this news going "HA! It's about time! I knew it would happen eventually!"

Truly a unique individual. His energy for life will be missed.

I wish him and his family condolences.

Never thought about it, but it sorta is... he spends years face to face with crocodiles and fish kills him :x

he was also face to face with fish...

people keep saying it's ironic that he didn't get killed by the dangerous animal his career was about but they're not understanding what he was doing with the fish in the first place :(
pants jesus
DCS should've ended the comic a year or two ago.

Stingrays only attack if provoked. Of course, it's the stingray that decides if it's provoked or not. Apparently it felt threatened by him swimming nearby.

This bothers me: My dad had said the TV news was saying the producers were undecided if they were going to release the footage of his death and that it would depend on the feelings of his family.

.............how could you even think of airing that? :( Or releasing it in any form? To me that seems beyond cold.

Yeah, but it's Steve!

We're having an Australian party on Thursday (it's a coincidence, one of our friends is 21 then, and he's Australian).

We're going to toast him over the Barby with some XXXX

Never saw his show but he was such a personality that you get to know a little about over time. It's still sad to hear he's gone.

Apparently he had time to pull the sting out before he collapsed. If that's true then it's impressive. But I guess it comes as second nature when dealing with dangerous animals for so long.
