ironically
Irony (from the Ancient Greek εἰρωνεία eironeía, meaning hypocrisy, deception, or feigned ignorance) is a literary or rhetorical device, in which there is an incongruity or discordance between what one says or does and what one means or what is generally understood. Irony is a mode of expression that calls attention to discrepancy between two levels of knowledge. In fiction, it is a demonstration of the distance between the character's knowledge and that of the audience.

Now that's just an oxymoron.

Okay, this one's easy, I think.

The police bring in five suspects for questioning regarding a certain crime. These are the statements they give.

Andy: "One of the five of us is totally lying."
Brian: "Trust me, two of the five of us are lying."
Chris: "Take it from me... three of the five of us are lying!"
Dave: "We really suck. Of the five of us, four of us are lying."
Erik: "All five of us are liars! Hah!"

The police want to release any suspects who are telling the truth. How many should they release?

(Note: It's not asking who should be released, just how many.)

I'm thinking it would be Erik myself...

No, it's Dave. He is telling the truth, and because he is telling the truth there are four liars.

Also, Doc specifically didn't ask for who.

New riddle

If you put a coin in an empty bottle and insert a cork into the neck of the bottle, how could you remove the coin without taking the cork out or breaking the bottle?

Push the cork all the way into the bottle (hey, you didn't remove it), then proceed to remove the coin.

if you can push the cork in all the way, it isn't a very good cork.
I say, it's a bong and the coin comes out the other end

You use us every day. Most times you use us, it's in a different way and at a different time. Sometimes you use us individually, but for the most part you use us together, for we work much better that way.
Although we are all different and have different names or spellings, we are still as we are. We even have different variations of ourselves for others to use, but not everyone can actually use other variations without actually knowing what they are to begin with, or how to use them.
By now you have either a total look of confusion on your face, or a smile of knowing. Either way, the answer stares you directly in your face!

So...
**tilts head**
...What are they?
