First, if you've heard anything about the triangle in relation to symbolism, it's likely from Dan Brown's (in)famous <i>The DaVinci Code</i>.<br><br>Second, the "triforce" is actually a very simple version of the <a href='http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sierpinski_triangle' target='_blank'>Sierpenski triangle</a> fractal.<br><br>Third, the relation of triangles to homosexuality is due to WWII. In Nazi concentration camps, an inverted pink triangle was used to identify gay males. (<a href='http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazi_conce ... amp_badges' target='_blank'>This</a> is a rather good chart on the subject.) Today, the inverted pink triangle is used as a "pride" symbol, as well as a symbol for many GSA-type clubs and organizations.<br><br>Finally, this thread of discussion has gotten quite innapropriate for this forum. So . . . who wants waffles?
