Expound all you like. Experience is a teacher that gives the test first and then the lesson. No one, not even you, has overcome that. This community has been patient with you thus far (more than you can imagine), but you are slow on the uptake; you need to learn how to communicate with more diplomacy and tact.

Generally speaking, as long as there are lessons learned and people can forgive, the damage can be reversed. Don't let this setback get to you unless you think that will encourage spiritual growth.
