during normal online conversation, I begin to say something and then the other person says something else and I go "THAT IS TOTALLY STUPID" so I select-and-cut all of what I've typed and then respond to the new thing and then after like six minutes of that, I finally get around to finishing the paragraph inside my clipboard.
