Mexico BRB!

Postby Arloest » Sun Mar 14, 2010 7:03 pm

Not that I've been around a whole lot lately anyway, but now I will be even more absent than usual as I will be in Mexico tomorrow (the 15th) until the 20th.

But I may be gone even longer depending on how hard I get pwned by drug cartels.

We'll see.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Good luck! We'll put together a fund to help pay any ransoms that need paying. The drug cartels accept bottle caps these days, right?

Enjoy the poverty, war, and overall crappiness.

Don't look like you're rich! (Seriously; they are the ones the criminals target.)

Enjoy Mexico, even though I suspect you're actually going to be blasting rocks and studying their remains mostly.

Have "un buen tiempo" ahaha I used Spanish. Classy.

But seriously, have a great time, try not to get mugged, the usual.

Hey guys I totally didn't die! I didn't see one cartel battle, which was nice.

So overall Mexico itself kind of freaked me out, but the mountains I scaled totally made up for it. It was pretty cool. Nothing like the thrill of having rocks slide out from under your footing when you're scaling a steep incline.

The best part is when it's wet and there are so many tree branches in the way you can't see the bottom :V
