Now I realize this site has a life of it's own, and I do understand the need to be yourselves and much of the site directly reflects the title of the site "Define Cynical", but over the past (I lost count) times I've been back, certain things just don't make me feel comfortable and others are just a waste of time. (WHAT those are isn't important, because after all, it's who you guys are... I guess...)
I have decided I'm more than likely done with this forum, but since there ARE a few reasons to remain, I shall stay a little longer. However I am still prepared to remove this URL from my favorites and not come back as often as I have been. (This also slightly explains the lack of my posting...)
Sad, too, for some of you (seem?) to have things under control, while others are 'entertaining' with their 'masks', totally covering up who they really are. Still others actually seem to be true to form, no mask needed. (Names for these categories are withheld, because let's face it, I could be totally wrong!)
Without including those who actually "have their *stuff* together", some of you seem immature. Fun is fun and I enjoy a good laugh (chuckle, guffaw, etc) with the rest of them, but let's be serious for a moment: EVERY DAMN MEMBER NAME HAS A REAL-LIVE PERSON ATTACHED TO IT! Some of you are careful enough to remember this, while others insist on ignoring this simple fact. Sure, yeah, it's your choice and this IS a good website to have this kind of fun in, but for some odd reason I don't sense any TRUE concern for other members posting here. Consider this not only my concern, but a slight defense for those unable to speak up.
. I unfortunately find myself acting a little like my ideal self on the internet rather than my real self. But its kinda like the difference between how you act with strangers and the way you act with close friends. I for one am typically polite to strangers and a little more "immature" with my friends. Not sure what else to say, bye.
