Okay, third time trying to make this sound okay... I'll actually post it this time...

Yeah, i'm horrible with introductions...

I saw the keenspot newsbox featuring Ozy & Millie, and I decided to take a look. I read the first few and got hooked, mostly because it is a near mirror of my recent life. I'd consider myself a mix of Ozy and Millie, I have a seriously split personality. I'm most like Millie, which is how I've made my three friends (One of my friends is not talkative and the others I see twice a week during the school year, but I haven't seen them for two months...).

How I'm like Millie:
-I can be extremely hiperactive
-I have an ongoing rivalry with the popular kids in my school
-I have a short attention span at times
-I've thought about breathing several times (Argh).

How I'm like Ozy:
-At times I can have really deep thoughts

Sorry if this introduction rambles on really long, I've related to Ozy and Millie so much lately.

This year, after Christmas break, my two former friends went comepletely to the poular side of the school. With no one to be with but my non-talkative friend (of whom was in a different class), my life got very lonely. I was a comeplete nobody in the social order. Then, to make matters worse, the two special spots in the woods got ripped down, so I had nowhere to mellow down. The only improvement in life so far is summer. Next year I'm going to junior high, with twice as many kids, so I'm hoping for improvements next school year.

One funny thing my sister can relate to Ozy & Millie is getting sent to the school phycologist. The reason she got sent was that she wrote a poem about a school girl killing her roommate. She got a perfect score on it anyway, because it was well written.

Hey thar and welcome.

Something about junior high here. You'll make more friends due to the sheer number of students. It's tough at first because you're expected to be a lot more independent, but it gets better, and soon you grow to like the independence. Then you get to high school, which is a lot better than junior high.

So yeah, it gets better.

That could describe Millie too. Maybe you're not a combination.

Well, welcome, Amber. Complimentary wing-glomps are available if you so desire.

Hello and welcome. And I just have to say this: you're just going into junior high, but you can already type better introductions/posts in general than most college graduates. Congrats!

Welcome! All I have to say is, "normal" is a setting on a dryer. As for us, we're human beings, not wet underwear. (Well, most of us, anyway. Can't say I can vouch for a certain few YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, GUYS.)

I prefer the term boxer-briefs, thank you very much!

Welcome to the forums, and good luck with our insanity.

Welcome to the forums, and good luck with our insanity.
I feel so loved!

I am insane. I'm also weird. Several people in school have said this in tones of disgust, but I'd rather be who I really am and have true, loving friends that will stick with me no matter what.

I scare a lot of my older sister's friends with my insanity. :D

I'm lucky in that people seem to like my brand of weird.
