This may sound like spam and it technically is but this thing is just so good that I'm gonna tell you.

300MB space
10GB bandwidth
No ads/pop ups/banners/whatever they can think of
Free

And all you have to do is post 50 good posts in their forum.
So if you hate the free service you've currently got (AngelFire!) then this would be a good alternative.
www.2webh.com

Well, dont tell my customer, but im actually 15. I rent him web space at 15 a month. It was cheaper than what he was paying, and i am still making a profit. It is a gig or so of space that i rent, and needless to say, his page does not use it all.

So, you, see, i already have free webspace, and because of who i rent off i can get domain names for next to nothing.

but thanks for the tip anyway.

I've got MancuNET webspace, and I don't think there's any real limits (using common sense) or bandwidth limits, but I don't think Manc is accepting any new accounts.

http://hey.nu/ is a good one, unlimited everything for free, no ads and a short URL. You have to be a generally good person and show them what your site will contain (it has to be worth-while too) and they'll host you. They're an alright bunch. Haven't posted for ages though.

I was leaning towards Host Depot myself, 250 mb, unlimited bandwith and no pop ups for a free account. This is of course if i ever get a website online.

It's good to have a website, so you can upload any files you want to transfer or whatever.

anyone can host their own website.. and have has much space as you have on your computer at home..
the bandwith will however rely on your own present bandwith
but if you set

www.apache.com

i think they have windows versions as well

its probably not to hard to set up ..

oh plus you'll probably need to register a domain ... unless yo already have one

www.ipowerweb.com is the host for the company I bought a hosting package from (www.fusiontechva.net). They have nearly perfect reliability, 800mb disk space, 40gb/month data transfer, free domain name, and oodles of other amenities, for about $9/month.
