isn't that spit on your neck kick you in the crotch fantastic
The one that's on my mind when i think of this is the death of a pilot in The Day After Tomorrow, and only because i just saw it today.

He's flying his helicopter through a rough blizzard and the temprature drops very rapidly. First the fuel in the pipes freeze then the propellor becomes covered in ice so it starts falling down. Next we see the inside of the helicopter, all the tubes, electronics and MEHTUL turn into ice as the helicopter is still falling in the air. It crashes on the snow but the pilot isn't dead. Foolishly he opens the door to see what's going on (visibility during flight was very low) and in just a second or so, ice forms on his face, freezing him instantly where he stood.

And the last scene in The Life of Brian was probably the most joyful death scene.

Resident Evil the movie.

When those lasers come out of the wall and slaughtered those guys.
THe best one was the last guy. The laser is coming at him, then it turns into a huge grid. And then he says, "S***." and it goes right through him. Then you see white stuff drip out of his eye and then he falls into little pieces.

THAT was the best death I've ever seen.

wait, Darth Vader dies?

anyway, my favorite death is Argosax the Chaos. One of the main villains from Devil May Cry 2. Dante and Argosax charge at each other, Argosax knocks his sword away, follows up with another slash, but Dante's on the other side with a gun to his head, and then he blows his brains out. Although it's kinda hard to blow the brains out of a fire monster thing. I think. I haven't seen it in a while. Then there's the death of Ageha from Shinobi. She's running away from you because you kicked her butt in the last level, and she runs into your big brother Moritsune, who kills her and then starts trying to kill you. It's a long story.

*reads title* oh. OH. Movie deaths. right, sorry

How about the scene in Dr. Strangelove where Major Kong ends up riding the nuclear bomb?

Oh yeah, forgot that one.

Or HAL in 2001? Not really a death, I guess, more of a plug-pulling . . .

The pilot's response to the helicopter crashing amused me greatly, because it is exactly what a brit would say, shouting "Come on you bastard!!" at the aircraft whilst grappling with the controls.
