the user hdofu, who has been a member since just about the beginning of Define Cynical, has a username that is actually an acronym. It stands for "hope diamond of pants-uppedness" although the wordfilter would most likely change that into "pants-uppedness" which is not what "hdofu" stands for.

There, now you have some reference for what the heck we're talking about in this thread. We're talking about the fact that Hdofu has come back. And yet, even though that's what this stupid thread came about for, the relevant posts are omitted

if you read the article, you'll see that the first account that attributed the diamond to someone's misfortune, it was a different person with the same name. the rest were other loose ties based off of the original falsity.
