Which version of Knockin' on Heaven's Door is better?
The GNR version or the Bob Dylan version?

Knocking on Heaven's Door is pretty much one of the only GNR songs that are listenable.
Mainly because it's not their song
I think that any song being played by Bob Dylan is ultimately better than any song being played by GNR

I'm partial to the GnR version personally. Nice edgy feel to it.

yeah, like GNR had a very good sound to it but it's not a folk song... therefore not comparable

I don't know about Knockin' on Heaven's Door much, but GNR is awesome. So it gets my vote.

Bob Dylan, purely because I despise GNR.

I'm a huge Dylan fan, so I'll vote that.
EDIT - So I decided I should at least give them a chance. Listened to
this version, and didn't like it much. My search also revealed that Avril Lavigne's covered the song too.

Option 4 is the correct one. I have never been a fan of Dylan's vocals. He is a good writer; but I don't think he can sing at all.
And of course GnR is well...GnR.

CHANGE MY MIND AVRIL'S IS THE BEST VERSION.
I once performed the song at a talent show with two of my friends, but our drummer was pantsless awful and sped the tempo up on EVERY SONG so I had to sing it way too fast and it didn't sound that good

I hate when people say that. I hate you.
