I regret to inform you, dear members, that Doc Sigma has hacked Define Cynical in order to place a bouncing version of his avatar on every page. Whilst this is a terribly unfortunate incident, I ask all users to remain calm and not to panic; as far as we can tell the bouncing avatar is benign if somewhat distracting. I am doing all I can to get rid of this very silly effect but no matter what I try it simply does not disappear.

I suppose you'll just have to put up with it.

It just made derogatory comments about my family!

I managed to toss it way up off the top of the screen. It hasn't come back down yet (until I loaded the post page).

This thread bewilders me.

I threw it off the screen and it boomeranged back like a space shuttle crashing back through the atmosphere. Yes, this very irritating, but when I threw it, it was very amusing.

oh god, just realized that it accelerates when you scroll down and up.

CAN WE KEEP THIS AS AN OPTIONAL THING, AND MAYBE HAVE OPTIONS FOR THE AVATAR?

Ok for a second I thought it was based on, like, the dynamic URL of my actual avatar... which made me think "HEY I COULD CHANGE IT TO A GIANT PENIS AND GET SOME LARFS BEFORE AN ADMIN NOTICES"... but then I forgot all about that when I discovered that I don't see it AT ALL when I am logged in! I need to log out to play!!! Waaah!!!

I know you have traditionally used the laughing quaker head for many years, and that you like random japanese games with pixelart of that style, that's about it.

I scrolled up as it travelled upwards and caught it so it just drifted slowly from the left to the right at the bottom of the browser. Then I kept moving the 'floor' from under it so it looked like the poor girl was falling to her death.

Which is beautifully ironic, considering what happens to her in the game.
