Yeah, pokemon. It amused all of us at one point in life, if it hasn't I want you to turn this off right now and die in a hole.
DISCUSS.

I'll respond for Fritz: "LUCARIOS OWN"
Alright with that out of the way, the games are decent, but everything else created out of the franchise just got excessive.

Indeed. The fourth gen killed me. The first pokemon were indeed the best.

I played until Silver. And then I didn't.

Me an my friends were hugely into DP over the summer, because other than most of the new pokemon, we liked the updates for it, such as the physical/special move split. It also made it easier to connect wirelessly instead of using a link cable like the older games. Then when we all somewhat drifted away from it, my friend ended up selling it, and the rest of us followed in turn.
Recently I learned they updated
Netbattle from RSE to DP, which is pretty much pokemon stadium where you can actually edit moves, evs, and so on. Several people I tell about it say something along the lines of "It kinda ruins the point of actually
training pokemon, doesn't it?". With how much I actually used to change my team, training isn't even fun to me anymore, so it doesn't bother me. It's just an easy was to find matches online, especially for somebody who doesn't own the game anymore.
End of ramble.

That was a lot of words that I didn't understand.
In other words, yes, i think we were all disappointed by the new pokemon (most of us)
I find training them is the real point of the game, isn't it? thus the original theme song? "To train them is my cause"? but, that's your preference, so I can't really say anything against it. I like most of the new moves though, especially Wring-out.
Eevee's stats are even worse now, though. It's like they're pressuring you into evolving it as soon as you get it, instead of waiting for bite T_T

Not even slightly. D/P is what got me back into Pokemon. I was heavily into it for 1st and 2nd generations, then I just kinda skipped 3rd generation. Dammit I want to write tons of stuff but I am SICK SICK SICK and can't think straight, but here's some stuff about 4th gen that I wub
* the physical/special split. YAY it was about time. It just makes *sense* for the elemental punches to be physical instead of special. Hitmonchan actually DOESN'T SUCK now, yay
* Porygon-Z is the sex
* I'm so sick that I just can't think, dammit, can't stop sweating

Teehee.

I'm not really disappointed by them, its just not up to the standard of what the other games had me excited for. I mean, look at this and tell me with a straight face that it was a good idea.

There were a lot I like though, like Luxray, Togekiss, and Mothim, to name some random ones.

I know where your coming from. After a while, with how often I switched up my team (and train them to level 75, which was me and my friends average level), training seemed more like an unfun chore leading up to the exciting battles. Its nice to be able to skip right to the fun.
I like most of the new moves though, especially Wring-out.
Yes, the new moves are awesome. I love how much they updated grass, mostly. There weren't many good grass moves before DP ><

I have Pokemon blue and it's the most fun I've ever had on any Gameboy.
I played through the game numerous times. Usual pokemans in my retinue included Articuno, Venusaur, Flareon, and Alakazam.
I also have a Charizard card.

My ninja team: Jolteon, Milotic, Sableye, Beedrill, Arcanine and Shiftry. If i had to change something, I think I would get rid 'o Sableye for a Hypno or Gengar ((60% hypnosis, yay!))
In other words, i've only lost twice in my entire time playing, on my Sapphire game. That was when my friend had a Nidoking and I didn't have a counter (thus the sableye and Milotic) and he simply killed my go-to pokemon Jolteon. Then I was screwed.

My team at the moment is Glaceon, Hariyama, Togekiss, Roserade, Metagross, and Dragonite. I still am staying true to my DP team for the most part, but I ended up taking out a good amount of Pokemon (Kingler, Ampharos, Wevile) because they weren't doing all too well for me when I got online.

In 4th gen I'd say replace Sableye with Spiritomb and Beedrill with Vespiquen. Shiftry is an awesome Pokemon, totally underused in my opinion.
My current team (which is kinda in a messy state, what with trading back and forth to Platinum) is an all-Steel team, like I'm a Steel-type gym leader or something... Mawile, Skarmory, Bronzong, Metagross, Magnezone, Scizor. "WHAT ABOUT EARTHQUAKE LOL" Even if the opponent figured out I'm all-Steel, two of them are right-out immune to it (Skarmory and Bronzong), two of them have Magnet Rise (Magnezone and Metagross), and Scizor's half-Bug so it cancels out. Mawile will go down to a single Earthquake, yeah, but I use her mostly to mess with the opponent and buff up mah dudes before Baton Passing over to someone who can bring on teh raep

Just because it looks ugly. *sigh*
But I like my beedrill! MEGA HORN!
