...want to kill your entire family. And when you're brought into court to face charges, just show this commercial as evidence and plead insanity.
After all, everyone has a song inside!

But the below parody might be more suited to members of Define Cynical.

As with almost every product that looks like it
might be fun to use, I'm willing to bet that the one thing I'd really want to do with it is not built in; dollars to donuts there's no 'Punk' mode...

If there was a "punk" mode it would be watered down pop rock that passes for punk these days.

Ibun only has Fallout Boy and McR in his punk playlist.

It sounds like it generates midi files that would be great to include on Windows 95 cds.

EDIT: I'd also like to point out that the laptop in the video is a poorly disguised MacBook.

"Microsoft, huh? So it's easy to use?"
Hey this guy takes the vocals-only tracks from song multitrack masters and runs them through Songsmith, creating some truly amazing masterpieces. I especially love what happened to Roxanne, and Just What I Needed, and especially the polka version of Crazy Train:
clicky

"I've never heard you sing before!"
I wonder why...
This looks interesting. It may also spawn a huge amount of horrible music. Will try it out, I think, but from the classic hits videos I'm not optimistic.

it wasn't "poorly disguised", it was a macbook and it wasn't the first time MS has used them.

I don't see why they shouldn't. Okay, they come bundled with a competing operating system, but they
are fairly high-quality x86 PCs and they run Windows just as well as any other laptop.

totally, dude. If I could have any computer, it would be an Apple with Windows installed on it.

I wonder what would happen to it if you rapidly switched between keys and singing styles.
