Raine Dog

Just out of idle curiosity, does anyone know if a forum thread will be started for "Raine Dog"? I unfortunately got started here about the time the strip went on semi-hiatus, and I'd like to get in on the ground floor for discussions on her new work. To start, I like the idea of a dog never being bored in a city... it strikes a chord. Seems to be a habit forming with her works.. Anyway, any info would be GREATLY appreciated.

has it started yet? if so, then I'll personally make the threads so that we'll become a RD fansite by common law

Raine Dog and other threads...

Well, whatever the decision, I fully intend on being far more vocal than I was during my reading time on "O&M". I missed out on a lot of discussions, and possibly(probably) some good forum friendships. I don't want to do that again. It's one thing to make a mistake once, but twice... then it's my own intentional fault.
Besides, I really like talking here. I feel comfortable, like I'm in a warm room, talking with friends over strange and other-wordly drinks. Kinda wandered on the metaphor, but I hope the sentiment got through.

I'll assume(and that's a risk) that the meaning of my post was obtuse. I missed out on just about every discussion and every argument and every good laugh during the entire run of Ozy and Millie. If Raine Dog is anything like it, even only in regards to uplifting content, I want to be part of it, not a lurker in the digital shadows. I want to play, in other words, with all you other kids in the playground.
Basically, I'm a big dork who's sad he missed out on the good times. Take it as you will. But please, take it kindly.

hey, well here's a tiny suggestion: on the internet, we already know who you are when we see your post. It's considered bad form to sign your posts. especially if you sign your posts AND your signature.

Considered bad by whom? WEIRD maybe, but nothing inherently wrong with it.

That's like saying there's something wrong with Lewis using 20 emotes in his posts, WHICH OF COURSE THERE IS NOT.

You know I wasn't actually being serious when I said that; I just needed something to get Ibun with.

Ibun can't be "get"ed. He makes his annoying comment, and gets ignored.

I can never tell when you're being sarcastic.

Also considered bad by everybody because when somebody does it inevitably everybody who replies to the guy purposely signs their post too.

Weird, huh?

As said in another thread, I named my avatar after a giant, floating eye surrounded by tentacles that lives UNDER a hill in Germany. That's not weird?

No, it's eccentric. That word sounds a lot better. And I enjoy being just as eccentric as I can. And as for the bad form, now I know.

Truthfully it's only a select few whiners that would get on you about it. Nobody important actually cares whether or not you sign your posts.

I suppose it'll save you some irritation though.
