Desk?
I'm so ghetto.
That's my laptop (and external monitor for extended desktop) sitting on my beanbag chair (the monitor in a milk crate full of CD binders)...and you can just kinna make out my animation render farm in the background there.
The beanbag is my only piece of furniture.

Haha RocketGirl, you have the same kind of laptop I do! Is the hinge popping out yet?
Oh, and I'll post pics of my "desk" later on.

I've had it for about a year and a half and it's fine.
What have you been
doing with your laptop?

That's...a lot cleaner than what I was picturing...

What a furry desktop.
I'm jealous.

A year old and no longer accurate. As evidenced by the Portal desktop. And the antiquated Ubuntu CD.
Currently, there is a leak above my desk, so I'm not using it.
(Not pasta is an injoke from where I posted this originally)

No, I specifically say "GRAAAHAGAAAGAFLAAAA" while I flip the top half open and shut for about twenty minutes at a time.
No, but seriously, everyone I've talked to who has this computer has problems with the hinge freezing up, subsequently causing the laptop to pry itself apart. Funny that it hasn't happened to you. I feel strangely gypped.
My theory is that because someone in Dell knew of the origin of your username, you got the laptop with extra lube on the hinge. I will believe this until I die.

funny you mention that. I have the same laptop as well, but with the quickplay buttons on the front.
DESK:
And I also have a secondary "table" (read: unused keyboard), which I really need to clean off.

This is my desk during its relatively tidy phase. The little purple monster on my monitor is called Jakob.

You actually caught me at a relatively good time in terms of cleanliness.
