Enter the Cold

Yeah...I know it was inevitable that the cold weather would start to set in but...dang. Just as I was getting acclaimated with 50's and 60's as the lows, we get hit with a forty degree morning and now there are freeze and frost advisories. Nevermind the fact that the temperatures are still gonna climb to hot levels at least by my hot-natured standards. Gotta love the South and it's wacky weather. For all this, there better be some snow.

Yeah, that's one thing I've always disliked about Georgia's weather. Even after it gets cold enough to start wearing a jacket or sweatshirt (or pants for that matter), it always gets so warm by afternoon that you wish you had just worn shorts and a t-shirt.

It's The Wind here. The Wind arrives and blows relentlessly and ruthlessly for months on end. It could drive you mad.

I kid you not.

Mad.

The wind doesn't drive me mad. More often than not though, it drives me to the store.

As long as I'm living in Houston you probably won't ever hear me complaining about the cold.

The heat, however...

I heard it gets so hot that it's cold, that's what I heard.

A gossip monkey swinging in the rumour tree told me.
