My God...what have they done?!
I don't know, perhaps they just made a great business move.

Yeah, and so did Coca-Cola when they introduced New Coke...

Coke recovered quickly after that.

Stupid or not, They're going to make a shitload of money off of this. New Coke was really a success in terms of sales, but it only failed because of the reputation of the old coke. This is different. People don't buy Board games at the rate that they do Bottles of Coke.

I wasn't aware people still bought board games, period.

I'm more interested in the second deck of cards and extra weapons—and how adding complexity to the game makes it more appropriate for players who "have less time to play" than in the old days

This is going to wreck havoc with my long running Clue fanfiction series. I ship Colonel Mustard and post-mortem Mr. Body

They'd better keep Cluedo as it is or somebody is going to find themselves candlesticked in the Ballroom.

In Cluedo, isn't the victim named Mr. Black? Because in Clue it's Mr. Boddy... I always thought they changed it because of LOL RACISM, which would be SO DUMB!!!

Yes, it is, because it fits in with all the other names.

Which is awesome. The American version RUINED EVERYTHING! "Mr. Boddy" isn't even a terribly clever pun! It's so freaking obvious! AND doesn't fit the theme. Grr.

Is it really bad that they updated the game? Now characters are only like ten years out of date with popular culture rather then 60
