I met a hedgehog today.

He was very snuffly and cowered for a bit before wobbling unsteadily off in a different direction.

Hedgehogs are strange little things.

Slow wild animals. Awesome to crouch beside for five minutes and watch.

They're pretty interesting, strange little creatures for sure. Funny you should mention hedgehogs, for I was watching thisvideo of one earlier on today. So cute. :D
gforce422 is awesome because:
-He made the absolute nicest comments about me in the other topic. I didn't respond to them yet, because I suck, but they are greatly appreciated! =D
-I would say he would also be a good runner up as one of the nicest people alive.
-He joined the IRC sometimes. But not enough, I say! Chat moar =D
-He is evidently only 18 year old but he could easily pass for 25. =D
-He is a drummer like *I* am and this in itself is cool.

Sonic was so cool back in the day. Then we moved on from the Megadrive and it all went thither.

Interestingly, on a totally different forum I posted this same topic and Sonic came up within four posts.

I met some beavers the yesterday. They came rather close to the canoe I was fishing in and munched on some leaves.

I also met a rabbit. It was plump and tasty looking, but I lacked a firearm.

Well, if nothing else, I'd much rather lick a beaver than a hedgehog.

I'd rather use a hedgehog to scratch an itchy foot with, though.

Some lady brought hedgehogs to my pre-school once and let us pet them. Spiny little things.

At least hedgehogs don't leave their spines embedded in your skin.

Hedgehogs are cute, skittish, and very curious. If kept as pets, though, they can be quite filthy if you don't clean them with alarming regularity -- they poop and poop and poop and just when you think they're done, they poop some more.

I hear they're noisy eaters, too.

Yes, they are. And messy eaters too! They get their food (and poop) everywhere. But they are so cute. They even make cute sounds. And despite their spines, they can be petted. Some of them love to have their bellies rubbed.

(My ex-girlfriend kept hedgehogs, which is why I know anything about them.)
