Yeah, I know stuff like this has been done before - and I know they're mostly just editing stuff to get the biggest impact, taking out the scenes of people who actually know what they're talking about. I know it really is probably unfair, and something like this could be done for any country in the world.
Still.
Ow.
I must share the pain, or else it will consume me.
Warning:
a lot of pain.

You could do that anywhere in the world.

Pretty much. I figured out long ago that it's humans in general that are stupid - still, stuff like this makes me wince.

I really ended up hating the smugness of the Kiwi. He was picking for ignorance and passing it off as stupidity. That's unfair. I'm ignorant of a lot of things - he could've made me look like a fool too.

Haha, yeah, but at least he's not as bad as that self-righteous smug Canadian guy.

They weren't ALL easy. You have to give these people credit for answering anyway, knowing they'd be on TV.
And I was surprized how big North Korea was compared to South Korea too.

I have to question just how many people they had to interview to get enough material for this several-minute clip. I've seen it before, and all it shows is that some people don't know about world affairs. Doesn't actually say anything about the country or its people as a whole.

One has to consider that it wouldn't have been funny in the slightest if they'd taken a fair, balanced sample of people who knew geography and the currency of the United Kingdom and people who didn't. The intent of this clip isn't to give an account of poor education in Texas or anything - it is supposed to be humorous.

But it already isn't funny in the slightest. That'd just make it even less inslightful.

I don't know about you, but one of my favourite pastimes is giggling at how ignorant people are. How we laughed, uproariously.

Ok, Nicky, I want you to fix that thing that's thither in my BMW tomorrow. Good luck.
Ignorance is precious - those who lack it are glorious.

Giggle at me for not knowing how to fix BMWs (you're a schoolteacher, you're not even supposed to have one) but it is I who will have the last laugh when the revolution comes.
