I don't have any pets currently, but we've had:
3 dogs
4 cats (plus litters)
3 chameleons
1 ferret
1 rabbit
several birds
several fish
(not all at the same time, though they did overlap at one time or another)

expect it to return at random, I'm betting.

No pets. My dog got killed last year by some dude who then demanded payment for the damage caused to his car. Lovely fellow. I really wanted to...you know...murder him to death, but turns out he was legally within his rights to ask for that payment.
Hunting out some pictures of old pets. Lived on a farm you see, so pets came and went a lot. Not always cause of death. We had a massive population of cats that we could never tell if they were ours or not. Dogs. We had a rabbit, but that was a disaster with all the foxes around. Mm. Canaries. Fish.
See, I've mostly been living in temporary accommodation since I left the parental home and it's unfair to get a pet if you're going to be moving around a lot.
Check out the long hair! Dear god.
Man, I look young there.
Just another one of the fox. Cause he was awesome.

Awesome cat. My mom would freak over those pics. She loves calicos. Well...actually she likes the ones with more white fur on em but that's still cool. I have about 10 cats right now. They keep showing up and I just can't turn em away. Also had a dog a while back but she disappeared.

My family cat's so new that I don't have any pictures of her yet.
When I saw the title of this thread, I thought of two other interpretations: "This thread is my pet" and "Go on, pet this thread."

Hahaha, there needs to be some lightning in the background so I can call him 'Cat of Zeus'.
